About
Aerospace sits at the intersection of more disciplines than almost any other field: structures, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, propulsion, controls. The best outcomes come when those boundaries dissolve. I’m drawn to problems that can’t be solved by one discipline working alone, and to the moment where a constraint that looks like a limitation (a weight budget, a load case, a material limit) becomes the thing that forces a more elegant solution.
What I enjoy most is closing the gap between a design on screen and a thing that actually works. That’s usually where the real engineering happens.
A journey that once took months now takes hours. Distance, which defined the limits of human civilisation for most of history, has been compressed almost to irrelevance. That’s one of the clearest examples of what engineering at its best does, and I want to help build the next version of that leap, whether in sustainable propulsion, next-generation airframes or autonomous systems.
Piano
Grade 5, mostly classical, now just for fun. Couldn’t fit one in my uni room.
Guitar
Picked it up a few months ago because it travels. Learning fingerstyle on a nylon-string classical. The goal is to play alongside my cousin, a proper guitarist, even if I’m just the background.
Cycling
Road, gravel and some mountain biking. A gravel bike does my commute and the off-road stuff, usually 10 to 15 relaxed miles with friends.

Photography
Taking photos since I was two or three, on Dad’s Canon. Now mostly my phone, hunting angles, like flipping it upside down against the sand so the rocks are sharp and the beach fades out.
Also badminton.
